Please Read

Important Notice

This page does not contain all Studio Verto policies.

The policies listed here are our general studio-wide guidelines. Each class, workshop, membership, party package, rental, and event may have its own additional terms and conditions specific to that offering.

When signing up for any class, workshop, membership, or service, please read through all individual policies presented to you at the time of registration. These may include specific cancellation windows, payment terms, age requirements, attire rules, or other conditions unique to that offering.

By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to both the general studio policies on this page and any additional policies specific to your booking.

Strictly Enforced

No Spectators Policy

Adult Classes — Absolutely No Spectators

No person who is not registered and actively participating in the class is permitted inside the studio during adult class time. This applies to everyone — partners, friends, family members, and children of any age, without exception.

  • No children of any age are allowed in the studio during adult classes
  • No adults who are not registered participants are allowed in the studio
  • No waiting inside the studio — please wait outside or in your vehicle
  • This policy applies for the full duration of class, including warm-up and cool-down

This policy exists to protect the privacy, comfort, and safety of all adult students. It will be enforced without exception.

Youth Classes — Enrolled Students Only

Only children who are registered and enrolled in the youth class are permitted to participate. Siblings, friends, or other children who are not enrolled may not enter the studio floor or participate in any way during youth class time.

  • Only enrolled youth students may be on the studio floor during youth classes
  • Non-enrolled siblings or other children are not permitted in the class space
  • Parents and guardians are welcome to wait in the designated waiting area
  • For Verto Littles (ages 1–5), one registered parent or guardian per child is required to participate
  • For Verto Juniors and Youth Elite, parents may be asked to assist younger students when needed

This policy ensures a focused, safe, and distraction-free environment for all enrolled youth students.

Section 1

Safety Policies

To maintain a safe environment for all participants, the following safety guidelines must be followed at all times.

Warm-Up Requirement

All students must arrive on time and participate in the full warm-up. Doors will be locked 5 minutes after the class start time. Any students who arrive after that will not be permitted into class and will forfeit their class fee. Skipping the warm-up increases the risk of injury — this policy is strictly enforced for your safety.

Jewelry and Lotions

Please remove all rings, bracelets, watches, and necklaces before class to prevent damage to the poles and injury to yourself. Avoid applying lotions or oils before class, as they can make the poles slippery and compromise your grip and safety.

Spotting and Assistance

Do not attempt new moves without instructor supervision. Always follow the instructor's guidance when trying advanced moves. Do not attempt to assist any other student, even if you know them — our qualified instructors are trained and insured to provide hands-on assistance when needed.

No Spectators

No person(s) who are not registered for a class and planning to actively participate are allowed to be in the studio during class. This includes any adults or children of any age. This policy protects the privacy and comfort of all students.

Injury Reporting

If you experience any discomfort or injury during class, notify the instructor immediately. Do not push through pain — your safety is our top priority.

Health Considerations

If you feel unwell or have any pre-existing injuries, please inform the instructor before the class begins. We can modify movements to accommodate your needs or advise you to rest if necessary.

Section 2

Class Procedures

To ensure smooth class operations and a respectful environment for everyone, please adhere to the following procedures.

Arrival

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before class to allow time to sign in, get set up at your space, and prepare mentally and physically. Arriving early also gives you a chance to ask the instructor any questions before class begins.

Class Attire

Wear appropriate pole attire — shorts and a sports bra or fitted tank top. Skin contact with the pole is essential for grip and safety. Loose or long clothing is discouraged as it may interfere with grip and make certain moves unsafe. Bare feet or socks are welcome. Heels are only permitted in Flow Theory or Freestyle classes.

Hydration

Bring a water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the class. We do not have a drinking fountain, but we do offer cold bottled water (1 per class).

Phone Use

Phones must be on silent or turned off during class to avoid distractions for yourself and other students. If you need to be reachable for an emergency, please let the instructor know before class.

Respectful Conduct

Be supportive and respectful toward fellow students and instructors at all times. Negative behavior, inappropriate comments, or any form of harassment will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the studio.

No Assisting Other Students

Students are never permitted to physically assist another student. Our qualified instructors are there to help adjust and support students when needed, and we carry insurance for that purpose. Please avoid touching another student. Words of encouragement and support are always welcome!

Section 3

Cancellation, Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

To maintain fairness and ensure efficient scheduling, the following policies apply to cancellations and attendance. We understand that unexpected situations arise — these policies help us maintain a reliable schedule, support our instructors, and ensure fair access to classes for all students.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled class to avoid losing your deposit or class credit. Late cancellations (within 12 hours of the class) will result in the loss of the class deposit or credit from your package or membership.

Unlimited Membership Holders — Cancellations

Unlimited Membership holders may have up to 2 late cancellations per month without penalty. Each additional late cancellation beyond 2 in a given month will result in a $10 fee per occurrence.

Late Arrival Policy

Students arriving more than 5 minutes late may not be permitted to join the class for safety reasons. Late arrivals disrupt the flow of the class, and the class deposit or credit will be forfeited. The student will be marked as a no-show.

No-Show Policy

If you fail to show up for a booked class without notice, you will lose your class deposit or credit. Repeated no-shows (3 or more within 30 days) may result in temporary suspension from booking classes. Unlimited Membership holders will be charged a $15 no-show fee per occurrence.

Payment & Enforcement

Late cancellation and no-show fees for Unlimited Membership holders will be charged directly to the card on file. If a charge is declined, an invoice will be sent. Failure to pay any outstanding fees within 10 days may result in membership cancellation without refund.
All classes, services, events, and experiences require full payment at the time of booking.

Section 4

Refund & Transfer Policy

Class / Workshop / Service / Event Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred if canceled within the allowed timeframe, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking. Please review the specific terms for each service or event when registering.

Party & Group Packages

All party and group package options require full payment to book. 25% of the total is non-refundable. The remaining 75% is refundable only in accordance with the cancellation policy timeframes outlined above.

Credits & Validity

Credits must be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase. Expired credits will not be reinstated or refunded. If you have questions about your credit balance or expiry, please reach out to us directly.

Transfers

Class credits and deposits may be transferred to another class or date if the cancellation is made within the allowed timeframe. Transfers are subject to availability and must be requested before the original class date.
If you have a unique circumstance, please reach out to us directly — we are always happy to discuss your situation and find a fair solution where possible.

Section 5

Studio Etiquette

Keeping our studio clean, respectful, and welcoming is a shared responsibility. Thank you for doing your part.

Equipment Care

Clean the pole and any equipment used after class using the provided cleaning materials. This keeps the studio hygienic and ensures the equipment is in great condition for the next student.

Personal Belongings

Keep personal belongings in the designated area to avoid clutter in the training space. Studio Verto is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Photography & Filming

Respect the privacy of others — no unauthorized filming or photography of other students. Please note: all students sign a waiver when booking that specifies they may be filmed or recorded by Studio Verto for promotional or instructional purposes.

Personal Hygiene

Personal hygiene in the studio helps everyone feel comfortable. Please wear deodorant and use minimal perfume or cologne, as strong scents can be distracting or cause discomfort for others in the space.

Follow Studio Rules

Always listen to your instructor and follow studio rules. Our instructors are here to keep you safe, help you grow, and make every class a great experience.

By attending classes at Studio Verto, you agree to abide by these policies. Our goal is to create a positive, safe, and empowering environment for all students.

Thank you for being part of the Studio Verto community — we can't wait to see you in class!
